The Brief
Create an iPhone app that’ll be the ultimate cheese application for both industry professionals and cheese enthusiasts alike. The very best resource for all things cheese-orientated, with an extensive list of over 320 cheeses! We want to help people improve their knowledge with the cheese quiz and provide a handy little tool that’ll help people match their cheese to the appropriate beverage.
Our Response
This app was a perfect candidate for our ‘Ask the’ app range we’re developing. So ‘Ask The Cheesemonger’ has been developed to meet all the brief requirements and designed to simplify and demystify the often confusing subject of cheese and in doing so provides enthusiasts with the product confidence that will enhance future cheese experiences.
The Result
Within weeks the app with featured by Apple in their ‘New & Noteworthy’ and ‘What’s Hot’ sections on the front screen of iTunes, as well as their ‘Made in Australia’ feature category. After less than 2 months on release, the Sydney Morning Herald awarded the App one of Good Living’s choices for the Top 25 Food Apps, singling out the ‘Ask the Cheesemonger’ app as an example of excellence.
