The Brief
Three years in the making – this epic Graphic Novel story was ripe for the era of the iPad. A Raymond Chandler style storyline which required mood, atmosphere and a way to showcase an interactive world for its readers.
Our Response
Our focus was to deliver a Graphic Novel unlike any other in its delivery. Bridging the gap between traditional print comics and interpretations of Sin City – we created a comic book which allows the reader to immerse themselves in the world through an eerie soundtrack by Hylton Mowday, atmospheric sound FX and a storyboard option.
The Result
The App is still unique on iTunes as a truly cinematic telling of a traditional gumshoe detective story. Movie legend Kevin Smith called it “A smart strategy, this is indie-filmmaking spirit right here…”.
