The Brief
Can you create a logo that communicates our passion and love for seasonal Australian foods; it has to be sophisticated without losing a sense of fun and energy… and can it be ready for the launch of a new and highly original food emporium that had plans to open within a few months?!
Our Response
Deep breath – of course we could; we love a challenge that has the potential for us to create quality work. After listening to all the client’s ideas and plans (which were many) we ‘sprung’ into action… researching Victorian styles, Australian food iconography and develop a concept that would also reflect what it would look like if Laura Ashley met Apple!
The Result
The logo has not only been embraced by its customers but has been lovingly nurtured by the client – the logo (so far) has been reproduced on a host of new media including packaging, aprons, a wrought iron-enclosed courtyard, white and gold plaques, backlit versions decorate the entrances with small to super enlarged versions subtly frosted onto the windows. We loved working on this brand and are very proud to have it amongst our most favourite of portfolio pieces.
