The Brief
The award-winning short film ‘Brother’ led with a campaign to promote the film as if it were a feature length studio film – a bold move in a crowded marketplace.
Our Response
Protein referenced European film poster designs of the 90s to create a key poster image which was part ‘Three Colours” and part David Lynch. The fracturing of the main characters features reflecting the dark psychological thriller tones of the movie. A gatefold DVD design and screen pressed custom seal-lock bags were used to promote the film internationally.
The Result
Brother went on to screen in over 30 international film festivals – winning the Beverly Hills Film Festival 2006 and the Los Angeles Silver Lake Film Festival. The film was a huge success and is available to download from iTunes (US) – Download Here.
