The Brief

Diggies are a popular, trendy cafe/restaurant on the beachfront of Wollongong.

The brief was to create a clean web design based on existing print materials, a modest budget and give it a dash of Protein.

The site had to represent Diggies as the place to visit on a lazy sunday afternoon in ‘The Gong’.

Our Response

Diggies founder is a well-respected print designer so we followed his lead from his menu stylings – typographical and a clean colour palette.

We integrated the design style into a web environment and based the aesthetic on a familiar cafe menu idea.

The Result

Diggies site stands out from their competition. It shows their style, product, service and personality.

The client has the ability to update menus and events at will with a simple content management system and managed picture gallery (recently updated to be iPhone-friendly!).

Diggies Cafe has an award winning breakfast that you really should try! Their eggs are loaded with Protein.
