The Brief
Having already created an IMA Award-winning website for Jam back in the day when Flash ruled the world – our client returned to present us with a new challenge… Re-imagine the website as if iPads existed five years ago! So, off we went to add a new lick of creative to the site with accessibility at the forefront of our minds.
Our Response
We opted to build the site with WordPress as the chosen CMS structure for a wealth of reasons. The main criteria being the ability to give the client complete control of their content and social media.
We knew that the previous site had been fairly interactive so we worked hard to maintain as much interactivity on the site as possible with Ajax.
The site became a Projector screen which would expand and collapse as the user interacts with content. All the while being as fresh as a daisy as new TV campaigns and blog pieces are added.
Jam’s studio is a real eye-opener which inspired us to use this as the basis of the design. (Why fix something that isn’t broken?)
The Result
Those jammy little buggers have got their sticky fingers all over the CMS – and the site continues to evolve with every new musical piece which is composed.
Stick with it guys!
