Protein have developed and designed successful creative campaigns for Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation and Children’s Hospital Foundation Australia which have supported record-breaking fund raising results.
We have had the pleasure of working with the SCHF team to reimagine recognised campaigns such as Gold Telethon, Lights for Kids, Pedal 4 kids and the reimagining of their most popular mascot.
In each instance, Protein have been challenged with finding ways to put a smile on the face of the user while communicating the serious nature of the fund-raising exploits. We have produced online, print, animation and TVC projects for the Hospitals.
For the Gold Telethon redesign, we set forth to create a look that would appeal to families, sponsors and corporations. Something bright and inspirational with a user interface that promoted direct response.
This was supported by a ‘live drawing’ television commercial that saw the telethon raise a record $4.2 million in funds for sick kids. A result that put a smile on many faces!
LITTLE LIGHTS FOR LITTLE LIVES
LIGHTS FOR KIDS
Following the success of our Gold Telethon creative work, we were generously awarded the ‘Little Lights’ campaign for Christmas which required an overhaul of creative. Something that built upon the new, fresh, illustrative feel of their online presence.
We sketched and storyboarded a virtual Christmas tree and Christmas light characters that would connect with parents and kids alike. Visitors were encouraged to donate and purchase a virtual light that then appeared on the virtual Christmas tree.
Protein were approached to develop the ‘Lights for Kids’ online campaign which partnered with the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network and The Daily Telegraph. Taking inspiration from children’s storybooks, we illustrated an online Christmas scene that incorporated an existing brand.
The website worked in parallel with an online Christmas Lights voting gallery where users could promote their own houses and designs. The website broke the previous year’s record for funds raised.
“The team at Protein One is always professional, creative and a delight to work with. They consistently produce work that meets brief and often offer creative ideas outside of the original ideas to ensure our projects will meet target. This results in high quality work with minimal feedback required from us. We often receive positive comments from our community around our beautifully designed collateral and websites. I would not hesitate in recommending Protein One to any organisation or individual.”
