Protein were engaged by Australia’s First Bank™, Westpac to create innovative, customer-focused creative solutions. In each instance we looked at how we could change the way the public perceived banking.
Protein have been responsible for designing solutions and developing platforms to help Westpac engage with existing and new customers.
These have included their online Financial Education Website platform, Women in Business website, Migrant Banking website and commercial video, Brand Advocate portal, Sports and Entertainment website, ‘Digital services’ animation and more.
Our approach to any corporate communications is to challenge the industry standards and look at how the creative design and user experience can deliver something unexpected.
Each design and animation focused on a more human connection to the audience. Banking in general can often be percieved as being stiff or antiquated, partnering with Westpac allowed us to challenge this.
Protein designed and developed The Davidson Institute for Westpac as a platform that offers financial education to the public and businesses alike.
It was important that the UI design was inviting on a number of levels and to a variety of possible students. An interface that would not hold the audience at arms length, but one that would make them want to look behind the curtain and engage with the interactive modules available.
The website encompassed brand messaging, customer experience, event management, content management and education. Financial education that truly offers return on investment.
One of the most satisfying projects for the client was when we were invited to develop an internal brand portal that would aggregate an extensive library of brand assets and deliver them on an engaging platform.
The brand campus we created for the staff simplified the content into an easy-to-follow chain of command that reduced administration drastically and increased brand advocacy within the business.
We created an extremely sticky design that encourages day-to-day use by clearing away the clutter and presenting the content in an environment that puts a smile on the face.
